While many MMA fans have openly hoped for a quick ending in that night's
Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos main event in order for Guida vs. Henderson to also air on the UFC
on FOX broadcast, UFC president Dana White today said that's not going
to happen.
White said the featured bout will be the only fight on
the broadcast, even if it "only goes 10 seconds."

Spike TV to counter-program UFC on FOX 1 with Velasquez and Dos Santos fightsSeptember 26, 2011 (17:20) [ Indexed from MMAjunkie ] Further solidifying the rift between the UFC and its longtime cable partner, Spike TV today announced counter-programming for the UFC's debut on network TV.
On Nov. 12, Spike TV will air a "UFC Unleashed" marathon - dubbed "Dos Santos vs. Velasquez: Unleashed for the Heavyweight Title" - featuring past fights with UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos.
Not surprisingly, the marathon begins just as Velasquez and Dos Santos fight at UFC on FOX 1, the UFC's first show on network TV.

dropping a bombshell: the UFC's first-ever event on FOX will feature a
heavyweight title fight.
And while the Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos fight appears on
paper to be a can't-miss contest, White contends that's far from the
truth.
He has faith in his fighters, to be sure, but he realizes there are
always risks involved in a live event. And with the UFC set for its network-television debut, White said he's making the ultimate gamble and banking
that the two heavyweights will deliver the goods.
