Lyoto Machida manager Ed Soares is disappointed that his fighter won't get the next shot at the light heavyweight title, but not overly bent out of shape.
The way he sees it, the title shot was a welcomed bonus, not an expectation.
"Whatever the UFC wants is fine," Soares told MMAjunkie.com. "I'm not tripping on that."

With UFC title shot in his future, Lyoto Machida says Jon Jones has 'a weak point'
August 06, 2012 (17:00) [ Indexed from MMAjunkie
Lyoto Machida believes UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has a weakness - even if he may be unsure of what it is, specifically.
Machida, himself a former champ, on Saturday found himself in the coveted "next contender" position once again. His dominant win over Ryan Bader at UFC on FOX 4 in Los Angeles put him at the front of the pack.
Of course, whether or not he'll have to worry about finding Jones' weakness remains to be seen since Jones still must get past Dan Henderson in his next title defense at UFC 151 on Sept. 1.
