UFC 141 headliner Brock Lesnar not ailing, 'actually quite pleasant'

Ever since his camp began for a UFC 141 bout with Alistair Overeem, ex-UFC champ Brock Lesnar has been dogged by rumors.
Countless sources have speculated to MMAjunkie.com that the once-ailing Lesnar isn't able to train and that the December heavyweight blockbuster will be canceled.
UFC president Dana White has a simple answer to that: "bull [expletive]."

For now, a fight between former UFC champion Brock Lesnar and ex-Strikeforce titleholder Alistair Overeem is a toss-up.
Noted MMA oddsmaker Joey Oddessa today told MMAjunkie.com that he's opened the fight, which headlines a Dec. 30 event that's expected to be UFC 141, with both fighters at -115.
"It doesn't get much easier than this," Oddessa said.

Former Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem is UFC-bound, and Brock Lesnar will welcome him to the octagon.
UFC officials today announced that Overeem and Lesnar will meet on Dec.
30 in the main event of a rare Friday-night UFC card (expected to serve
as UFC 141) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The five-round contest serves as a No.1 contender fight, and the victor will meet the winner of the Nov. 12 bout between current UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and top contender Junior Dos Santos.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has retreated to the relative solitude of his farm in Canada to recover from a second bout of diverticulitis.
Although he's shirked all communication with everyone other than those closest to him, the move has gone well, according to UFC president Dana White.
From the sound of it, Lesnar is on track to beat the intestinal disease a second time.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar underwent surgery on Thursday to address a second bout with diverticulitis, and if all goes well, he could fight in 2012.
UFC president Dana White today said that Lesnar had 12 inches of his colon removed in the procedure and is expected to spend the rest of 2011 in recovery.
However, White hopes the former heavyweight champ will return next year.
