What's next for Anderson Silva? He's got options, but there's one his longtime manager thinks is best.
Ed Soares believes it may be time to settle the long-running discussion of who the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world is -UFC middleweight champion Silva or welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre.
In a Monday interview with "Inside MMA" on AXS TV, Soares said he'd like to see a Silva vs. St-Pierre superfight as his client's next fight.

Saturday's UFC 153 was yet another historic event in Brazil for the UFC.
All 12 fights on the card featured Brazilians, and Brazilians won nine of the 12 fights at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro.
But the pay-per-view seemed to save the best for last, of course, with national heroes Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Anderson Silva fight in the co-main and main events, respectively.

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva proved two things when he demolished light heavyweight Stephan Bonnar at UFC 153 this past Saturday in Rio de Janeiro: He's clearly the best fighter in the world, and he needs tougher challenges.
Now we just need to convince Silva.
Even after easily dispatching a journeyman 205-pounder with a first-round TKO set up by a brutal knee to the body, Silva continued to shoot down the most interesting suggestions for potential future opponents.

Stephan Bonnar promised he'd drag Anderson Silva through hell with him in the main event of UFC 153.
He tried, but judging by the look on his face after Silva stuck him with a knee to the body, the trip to hell was one Bonnar had to make alone.
People say a lot of crazy things before a fight, especially when they're trying to convince you to pay for it. In the case of Bonnar, the UFC spent a good deal of time trying to get us to believe that he was "completely insane," not to mention virtually indestructible. Neither turned out to be true.

Despite the persistent "Rocky" storylines heading into Saturday's UFC 153 event, the night's headliner played out like so many folks predicted: UFC middleweight Anderson Silva shut down heavy underdog Stephan Bonnar.
Silva's 16th consecutive UFC win followed another big victory for his countryman, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, who handled fellow heavyweight Dave Herman.
