UFC on Fox 31 took place at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisc., and saw Al Iaquinta take a unanimous decision over Kevin Lee in the evening’s headliner. In the co-main event, Edson Barboza earned a third-round TKO against Dan Hooker in an action-packed affair. The main draw also saw Rob Font outpoint Sergio Pettis at bantamweight and Charles Oliveira score a first-round submission against Jim Miller.
Saturday’s main card averaged a 0.7 share in the 18-to-49-year-old demographic, the highest among major networks in that time slot. The final ratings should be higher because overnight ratings only measure the two-hour time slot, and the main event didn’t conclude until after 10 p.m. ET. Viewership from the West Coast will also be factored in to increase the final numbers.
Beginning in 2019, the UFC will move to ESPN and ESPN+, with its debut coming from Brooklyn on Jan. 19 with a card headlined by a flyweight title clash between Henry Cejudo and T.J. Dillashaw.
