Tenshin Nasukawa Responds to Conor McGregor: ‘I Promise to Avenge Your Loss’

Conor McGregor seemed perplexed by the identity of Floyd Mayweather’s next opponent. Tenshin Nasukawa is planning on making his presence known.

In a profane Instagram post directed at Mayweather on Monday, McGregor referred to Nasukawa when asking: “Who’s this little prick next to you?” He then called the Japanese kickboxing star “Jackie f—-ing Chan” in a reference to the “Rush Hour” movies.

Nasukawa responded to McGregor via Twitter, and the 20-year-old showed a sense of humor in doing so.

“Hello Mr. McGregor. My name is Tenshin Nasukawa,” he wrote. “I am not Jackie Chan. I promise to avenge your loss, so please watch my fight.”

McGregor faced Mayweather in a boxing match in August 2017, falling to “Money” via 10th round technical knockout. Nasukawa will square off against Mayweather at Rizin 14 on Dec. 31 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The rules and weight class for the bout have not been determined.

Nasukawa owns a 27-0 career mark as a professional kickboxer and is 4-0 in mixed martial arts competition. He does not have any experience in boxing.
