Frey, the reigning atomweight champion, and Grusander will square off in a rematch that will serve as the headliner for Invicta Fighting Championships 33 on Dec. 15. The card takes place in Kansas City, Mo. and will see UFC veteran Danielle Taylor meet Montserrat Ruiz in the co-main event. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.

Six other contests were announced for the event: Sharon Jacobson vs. Kanako Murata at strawweight; Amber Brown vs. Alesha Zappitella at atomweight; Jamie Moyle vs. Brianna Van Buren at strawweight; Sarah Kleczka vs. Brittney Victoria at bantamweight; Ashley Medina vs. Anastasia Nikolakakos at atomweight and Chanel Coates vs. Ashlynn Kleinbeck at flyweight.

Frey claimed the vacant 105-pound strap with a closely contested unanimous decision victory at Invicta FC 30 on July 21. The fight was close enough that many observers scored it in favor of Grusander. Frey is 5-2 under the Invicta banner and 7-3 as a professional overall.

Grusander had a four-bout winning streak snapped in the loss to Frey. The 29-year-old Finland native owns a 6-2 career mark, including a second-round TKO over Fernanda Priscila Barros Pinheiro in her promotional debut.
