Niko Price will make a quick turnaround and look to extend his winning streak to three in a row against Abdul Razak Alhassan at UFC 228 next month, the promotion announced on Thursday.
Price (12-1 1 NC) is coming off of two second-round finishes, a knockout over Randy Brown in July and a rear-naked choke of George Sullivan earlier this year. Against Brown, Price made innovative use of hammerfists from his back, which ultimately knocked Brown clean out.
Alhassan is coming off of a two-fight stint against Sabah Homasi, both of which Alhassan won by first round knockout, with the second being the more definitive of the two.
UFC 228 features a main event welterweight title fight between champion Tyron Woodley and challenger Darren Till on Sept. 8 in Dallas.
