Paulie Malignaggi Miffed at Conor McGregor, Exits Camp Over Perceived Disrespect
Former world champion boxer Paulie Malignaggi was brought into Conor McGregor’s training camp to help him prepare for his mega bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. later this month. Now the popular Brooklyn native has quit.
Malignaggi became enraged Thursday evening when someone linked to McGregor posted a photo on Twitter that showed “Notorious” standing over a fallen Malignaggi during a sparring session. Malignaggi quickly took to his twitter account to deny that he was actually knocked down and instead said that the Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight champion pushed him.
