Paulie Malignaggi Miffed at Conor McGregor, Exits Camp Over Perceived Disrespect


Former world champion boxer Paulie Malignaggi was brought into Conor McGregor’s training camp to help him prepare for his mega bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. later this month. Now the popular Brooklyn native has quit.

Malignaggi became enraged Thursday evening when someone linked to McGregor posted a photo on Twitter that showed “Notorious” standing over a fallen Malignaggi during a sparring session. Malignaggi quickly took to his twitter account to deny that he was actually knocked down and instead said that the Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight champion pushed him.

Things never cooled down, however, as “Magic Man” went on a tirade of tweets lambasting McGregor for being unprofessional:







After his continuous blasts toward the UFC’s most popular fighter, Malignaggi, a two-divisional world champ, finally had had enough and officially quit the McGregor camp. He took to his official Instagram account to reveal his take:
