The preliminary card for UFC 213 attracted 657,000 viewers to Fox Sports 1 on Saturday night, well below the prelim ratings for recent International Fight Week cards.

Preliminary cards for the last two International Fight Week pay-per-view events, usually a signature weekend for the UFC, drew 1.7 million viewers (UFC 200) and 847,000 viewers (UFC 189).

According to a report from MMAFighting.com, UFC 213 had the lowest rated prelims for a pay-per-view offering since 2014, when UFC 179 attracted 536,000 viewers to FS1.

The UFC 213 prelims featured a heavyweight bout between Alexey Oleynik and Travis Browne. Oleynik submitted Browne with a rear-naked choke 3:44 into the second round of their bout. The preliminary draw drew a 0.24 share in the 18-to-49 demographic, according to Nielsen.

UFC 213 lost a couple key bouts from its main card, which could have contributed to the low numbers for the preliminary draw. Amanda Nunes pulled out of her bantamweight title defense against Valentina Shevchenko on the day of the bout, and a highly anticipated welterweight showdown between Robbie Lawler and Donald Cerrone was nixed a few weeks prior.
