A former 145-pound title challenger, Lamas last appeared at UFC 199, where he dropped a unanimous decision to Max Holloway. “The Bully” is 7-3 during his Octagon tenure with notable wins over the likes of Diego Sanchez, Dennis Bermudez, Hacran Dias and Cub Swanson.
Penn announced his intention to come out of retirement earlier this year and has been training at Jackson-Wink MMA in preparation for his comeback. “The Prodigy” is in the midst of serving a six-month suspension from USADA for using an IV injection of more than the allowable limit of 50mL per six hour period; that sanction will conclude in September. Penn last competed at “The Ultimate Fighter 19” finale in July 2014, losing via technical knockout to Edgar.
