Anderson Silva has allegedly failed another UFC 183 drug test.
Sources close to the situation informed Sherdog.com of the positive result on Wednesday evening. The date of the test as well as the substance in question are currently unknown. Nevada Athletic Commission officials were unavailable for comment, and there has been no formal announcement regarding the test result from the UFC.

The NAC later announced that Silva passed another out-of-competition test for human growth hormone and other performance enhancing drugs administered on Jan. 19, according to a recent report from MMAJunkie.com.
“The Spider” defeated Nick Diaz via unanimous decision in the UFC 183 headliner on Jan. 31. It marked the Brazilian’s first Octagon appearance since he broke his leg in a loss to Chris Weidman at UFC 168 more than a year prior.
Silva himself has denied taking performance enhancing drugs. The former middleweight champion will be notified of his temporary suspension at the NAC’s next meeting on Feb. 17. He will then be required to attend a future hearing to receive further punishment. Silva is likely facing a fine and suspension, and his victory over Diaz could potentially be changed to a no contest, as well.
